There was silence in the office. Suddenly Sir Spring's gaze fell on a thin employee, who was sitting at his desk, busy writing carefully.

Sir Spring asked, "What are you doing sitting here alone?" The employee said, "I am solving maths problems, Mr." Standing up politely replied the employee. Sir Spring carefully understood the solution of that employee's questions and impressed by his extraordinary intelligence, said, "You are working here at the wrong place. You are a great scholar of mathematics.

The employee kept listening to his officer with his neck down. "How educated are you?", asked Sir Spring. Sir! I have failed Intermediate.", said the employee in a calm voice. Sir Spring asked, "You

So you seem intelligent, why did you fail?"

Short English Story

"Why didn't you write the name again?" Sir Spring asked the question. The employee hesitated and said, "We are very poor. Due to poverty, I could not study further."

Impressed by the talent and dedication of that employee, Sir Spring inspired him to study mathematics and advised him to write a letter to Professor Hardy of England. He wrote a letter to Professor Hardy and also sent the solution of some difficult mathematical formulas.

Professor Hardy was very surprised to understand the solution of the formulas. He could not believe that there could be a person of such extraordinary talent even in dependent India. Pleased, Professor Hardy called that employee to England and made arrangements for his studies at Cambridge University. His discoveries were published in the famous journals of mathematics and his name started being illuminated all around.

Impressed by the talent of that person and the great work done in the field of mathematics, England,The famous scholarly assembly "Royal Society" nominated him as its fellow. being a fellow of this society

It is a matter of great pride. Other universities also blessed him by awarding him with the title of 'Doctorate', but the climate of England was not favorable to him. So he started being ill. Even after many treatments, the disease did not leave the man. He died at the young age of 32.

The name of that great mathematician was Srinivasa Ramanujan. Who was counted among the world's famous mathematicians on the strength of his hard work and dedication. If Ramanujan, like other employees, had spent his free time having fun during the days of his job in the Port Trust office and had not worked hard to achieve his goal, he would not have become such a great mathematician.

You know :- We should do our work with hard work because the work done by hard work definitely gets the result, as in this story Srinivasa Ramanujan got the result of his hard work.
