One day, while Madan was catching fish sitting on the seashore, a big oyster got caught in his net. He brought it home. When his wife saw the oyster, she sat down to clean it. She could sell several buttons made of oyster shells. She needed a good sari.
She believed that a good sari could be bought from that oyster. While cleaning the oyster, an oval pearl came out of it. She was very happy to see the pearl. She told her husband, "You sell this pearl." There will not be such a big pearl in the whole world; so it will get a fair price. Then we will live in pride. Suddenly a voice came from the pearl, "Don't sell me." Keep me with you. In return, I will give you what you ask for every morning."

Madan was very happy to see the pearl. He agreed to the pearl. The next morning he asked for a palace for himself, immediately the hut was replaced by a palace. The palace was built but there was no water system in it. The next day, at the behest of Gauri, Madan asked the pearl to make arrangements for water in the palace. At the same time a well of water was formed there. He did not have good clothes to live in the palace. The next day he asked for good clothes, so the cabinets of the palace were filled with clothes.

Gauri's greed did not end even after getting this much. She told Madan, "Broken cots and pottery do not look good in this palace. Ask the pearl to decorate the palace with beds and chairs." When Madan put his demand in front of the pearl with a sense of shame, the next day, beds, chairs and various necessities were piled up in the palace. Good utensils and ornaments also arrived. but he still used to catch fish on the boat for subsistence.

On the insistence of his wife the next day he asked for a bigger ship and all the equipment needed on it, but the problem was not solved by him either. The growth of business required vehicles and helicopters. He had to ask for everything. On one side Madan and Gauri have a wealth of bungalows, cars and helicopter, on the other hand, his peace ended.
The worries of business, the fear of being robbed of wealth and pearls also started bothering him. Despite the presence of soldiers and guards, he was robbed. The robbers took away all the money and jewelry. Both Gauri and her husband were injured.
Gauri was not satisfied. Taking money from pearls, he built palaces, buildings, roads on an island. lakes and canals and she became the queen there.
Free money and amenities made Madan and Gauri comfortable. At first he used to swim for miles in the sea, but since he found the pearl. He diligently turned his back. Now he used to gasp for a little while.
One day both of them went for a walk in a motor boat. Suddenly his motor-boat sank while traveling. His ship was standing nearby, he tried to swim and catch the ship, but soon he became tired and he could not even cry.
In the end he drowned. While drowning he was thinking, "Free money made him lazy." Both of them believed in asking rather than working hard.
If you were working hard today, you would never have drowned. Man's most precious pearl is hard work. But what will happen if you regret now. At the last minute, if wisdom came, they did not alive to use it.
